आयपीएलमधील ‘राजस्थान’ संघाचे नाव बदलणार?

नवी दिल्ली : इंडियन प्रिमियर लीग स्पर्धेतील राजस्थान रॉयल्स या संघाचे नाव बदलण्याची परवानगी संघाच्या मालकांनी भारतीय क्रिकेट नियामक मंडळाकडे मागितली आहे. २०१५ साली भ्रष्टाचाराचे आरोप झाल्यामुळे राजस्थान आणि चेन्नर्इ या दोन संघांवर बंदी घालण्यात आली होती. २०१८च्या हंगामात या दोन्ही संघांचे पुनरागमन होणार आहे. त्या पार्श्वभूमीवर नवी सुरूवात करण्याच्या उद्देशाने संघाचे नावही बदलण्याची परवानगी संघाच्या मालकांनी मंडळाकडे मागितली आहे, असे मंडळाच्या अधिका-याने सांगितले.

Inaugural IPL champions Rajasthan Royals might return to action under a new name after having made a request to the BCCI to change the title of its parent company ahead of IPL 2018. In a bid to start afresh, the previously suspended franchise wants to change the name of its parent company. “They have made the request but no reason has been given as to why they want to change the company name,” a BCCI official told.
